Currently we operate four Tour packages that will allow tourists discover the diverse sides of the ancient city. The tourist will gain insight into the cultural, architectural, historical and contemporary sites in Ile-Ife. The itinerary will cover the Traditional beliefs, Christian and Islamic history of the city as well as the modern places of interest. A visit will be made to the acclaimed world largest and most beautiful campus, the glamorous Obafemi Awolowo University.

FLEXIBILITY

  • Excursionists and tourists who are passing through, intending to leave early or are not planning to stay the night can be engaged for up to four hours and enjoy one of our full packages
  • We explore two of our packages in a full day of eight hours of sightseeing most especially if you are spending the night in Ile-Ife
  • If you are staying in Ife for more than an evening, we can arrange transfers to and from any of the four selected notable tourism locations in Osogbo, Idanre, Ikoogosi and Erin-Ijesa
  • The beauty of our operations is that if it is your desire, you can have an admixture of the four packages by visiting selected sites agreed upon before we set out together

We also take an advantage of the centric location of Ile-Ife City by extending our services to plan trips to Osogbo, Erin-Ijesa, Ikogosi and Idanre; all within 100kms and an hour, thirty minutes’ drive from Ile-Ife.

  • OSOGBO
    Osogbo is the capital of Osun State. Famous for the UNESCO World Heritage site; Osun Osogbo Grove where sculptures and artworks are in abundance within the huge dense forest that spans the Osun River. Osogbo, just 56kms north of Ile-Ife has galleries and museums. Sprawling city is noted for its batik and dye industry.
  • ERIN-IJESA
    Erin-Ijesa 60kms from Ile-Ife domiciles the notable Olumirin Waterfall, the clear water cascading through a seven stepped hanging rocks. The site is well-known for its stunning scenery and tranquil ambience. Ideal for both adventure and picnicking.
  • IKOGOSI
    82kms away from Ile-Ife, the Ikogosi Warm Springs is situated within a dense forest on a hilly landscape. Here you discover the exceptional warm and cold springs flowing by each other into a confluence while their thermal properties are kept. Ikogosi site is noted for romance and relaxation. Arinta waterfall is 7kms away.
  • IDANRE
    Idanre is the home of another UNESCO World Heritage site; the spellbinding and wondrous Oke Idanre. A trip to this site takes you six hundred and sixty steps from the foot of the hill to the hilltop ancient Idanre settlement. This majesty, beauty, history and adventure is only about 100kms from Ile-Ife.

  • Tour duration is flexible and adjustable to tourist or tour groups demand
  • Takeoff time is usually 8am for tourists who are boarded in Ile-Ife the night before the tour, while the takeoff time for day tourists depends largely on their time of arrival in the city
  • Tour Languages are English and Yoruba languages. We can also provide interpreters on request for German and Portuguese languages
  • Our charges are discussed and flexible, it is calculated based on your chosen package, your time of arrival and the total number of sites you are able to visit
  • It is cheaper to book your hotel in Ile-Ife through us
  • Please notify us 24 hours before your arrival
  • Our pick up for site tours is usually any of our designated hotels as agreed and any other place as pre-arranged with you
  • Currently, it is only the Nigeria National Museum for Monuments that charges entrance fees. However, site attendants expect and accept gratuitous cash or gifts.
  • On request we do make special provisions for local meals, drinks, entertainment and nightlife
