Ultra Modern Service Stations

INE OIL LIMITED commenced business as an independent marketer of refined petroleum products through the outlets of its ultra modern service stations; and by direct delivery to industrial consumers with its fleet of tankers. It has continued to maintain a very visible profile in the downstream segment of the Nigerian petroleum industry.

In Benin City, we have built an ultra modern service station complex at Km 8, on the Benin-Lagos Expressway where our fleet of road tankers is also based. From this point we have commenced an expansion programme. One station is under construction in Warri. And in Lagos, we have moved into our ultra modern complex in INE OIL PLAZA on Lagos-Epe Expressway. The complex is made up of a fully integrated petrol station, automated car wash, automobile repair and servicing shops, bank, supermarkets and offices. The complex also houses our New Headquarters.

This entire business unit is expected to continue growing to include a huge network of service stations spanning the entire nation within a period of 15 years.

Road Tankers

In order for INE OIL LIMITED to exercise a measure of control and ensure a steady supply of products, it has acquired a fleet of 7 tankers to lift products from NNPC depots to its stations, and directly to industrial end user customers. The success registered by the company so far is greatly enhanced by the smooth operations of these tankers.

The movement of the tankers, painted in the company’s colours and logo helps to heighten our profile in the consciousness of the public.

Dredging

Most inland waterways are in dire need of clearing and dredging, in order to streamline operations for all inland waterways users. With our newly acquired equipment and our technical expertise, we have carried out dredging work for the Bayelsa State Government in Sagbama and Degema. Ine Oil have also been involved in Land Reclamation and Bank Protection works for OMPADEC at Opobo Town.

There is need to improve drought to enable bigger vessels move through the water ways. INE OIL LIMITED is duly licenced to dredge and clear the creeks and swampy water ways of debris and over growth. We have acquired the technical expertise and relevant equipment for this operation. To further consolidate, concerns willing to join hands in a JV cooperation are welcome. Modalities for this JV cooperation shall be worked out.

Pipelines

In order to overcome a lot of logistic problems, operators in the industry and government have had to construct pipelines to move both crude and refined products. With the advent of LNG (Liquified Natural Gas), additional pipelines have also been guilt to carry gas. The network of pipelines is expected to proportionately increase as the volume of business increases.

INE OIL LIMITED is positioning to be a player in this area. In JV (Joint Venture) cooperation with our overseas technical associates who have the technical expertise, INE OIL LIMITED is in a strong position to carry out routine maintenance and repairs. We are also bidding for construction of new pipelines. Modalities for this JV (Joint Venture) relationship with our overseas associates are being worked out. INE OIL LIMITED is licenced to effect routine maintenance and repairs.

Consultancy

Upstream operations in the petroleum industry are technology driven. A certain level of technical expertise is therefore indicated for all upstream operations. Nigerian firms intending to take advantage of the opportunities offered here must do so in conjunction with a foreign partner who provides the expertise and equipment. INE OIL LIMITED in conjunction with its overseas associates, provides consultancy services in the general areas of exploration and exploitation. Seismic surveys, Well services and Iron and Steel fabrication are areas of special interest to INE OIL LIMITED and its JV overseas partners. We have become a reputable link to new and potential entrants into the Nigerian Petroleum industry and have assisted some of our expatriate clients to set up operations in Nigeria.

Supplies

A carefully packaged supply and logistics programme is required if operations are to be successfully executed. The supply base(s) must have carefully laid supply lines linking it with operation platforms. INE OIL LIMITED is in discussions with some of the best supply vessels owners in Europe and America. We have great faith that the Nigerian market will be a veritable beehive of supply vessels activities as the tempo of deep offshore activities increases. We are positioning for this.

Indications from our associates overseas are encouraging. We are optimistic that modalities for this cooperation with our technical associates will be worked out as soon as possible.

Drilling

INE OIL LIMITED also renders drilling and Well site services in conjunction with our technical partners. As activities shift to the deep offshore for the first time in Nigeria, drilling has assumed an ever more challenging posture. We are in negotiation with very experienced associates who are already operating in the north sea, and who have the required expertise to perform extremely well in Nigeria. INE OIL LIMITED has the required permit/licence for this operation.

Storage Tank Farm/Depot

To further consolidate its brilliant position in downstream operations, INE OIL LIMITED has concluded feasibility studies for the construction of a 60,000 metric tonnes capacity tank farm/depot in Rumuolumeni – Port Harcourt, Rivers State. A suitable large waterfront parcel of land has been acquired in front of the Bonny River which has a depth of between 7-9 metres. A jetty to receive medium sized vessels is also to be constructed. Studies and sand tests are already being executed. With the envisaged deregulation of the petroleum industry by government, the strategic importance of this project cannot be over emphasized.

The entire project is to be executed in 3 (three) phases. Phase 1 is the construction of a 20,000 metric tones depot. This will be expanded in 2 (two) phases of 20,000 MT each.

Apart from utilizing the storage facilities to service our stations and industrial end user customers, excess capacities would be let out to other marketers and government agencies at on-going market rates.

House Boat

The signing of PSC’s (Production Sharing Contracts) by the Federal Government and Multinational Oil and Gas operators signaled the shifting of focus from the traditional onshore and swamp activities to also include deep offshore. INE OIL LIMITED in adapting to this new rhythm has packaged a diversification programme to reflect the juxtaposed challenges of the present time and foreseeable future in the Nigerian petroleum industry.

Deep offshore activities are a great challenge. A major support service for us here is the provision of first class accommodation for skilled personnel.

With the commissioning of 2 (two) large ultra modern 40 – 60 man House boats, we are firmly declaring our arrival on the scene. INE OIL LIMITED’s House Boats are locally produced to meet international standards. They are extremely durable and cost effective. They are destined to be deployed on behalf of the major operators in their swamp and deep offshore operations.

Barges/Tankers -Marine Transportation and Storage

INE OIL LIMITED is also engaged in barge and small tanker movement of refined petroleum products from refineries to private and government depots. On completion of our depot, product movement will be between our depot and refineries on the one hand and our depot and customers’ vessels on the other. This business unit is envisaged to be a stable revenue earner for the company. Apart from motorized (self propelled) barges, tug boats have been acquired to tow the unmotorised ones from our depot to actual site of operation.

Coastal movement to bunker duly licenced fishing trawlers is also a prominent activity for the barges and tankers. INE OIL LIMITED is duly licenced by government for this genre of operation.
